 Speeding ticket?

While any moving violation may result in points being assessed against your license, some speeding offenses carry a mandatory period of suspension.

The worst consequence of a traffic ticket can be financial.  Convictions can result in an increase in insurance premiums from 25% to 400%.  For example, a conviction of speeding 56mph in a 45 mph zone could raise a six month insurance premium from $600 to $870 (45%), and the rates stay in effect for three years.

Driving While Impaired?

A conviction of driving while impaired carries very serious consequences.  Among them are the revocation of your driver's license, a 400% increase in automobile insurance premiums for three years, heavy fines, and the very real possibility of a jail sentence.
